AccessU’s Health Team is available seven days a week, between 9am and 5pm. Appointments can be made via our patient portal for dedicated clinic slots every week.
All consultations are conducted discreetly and tailored to the individual. We can also refer patients to specialists and initiate treatment if needed.
Well Men’s Health Check
Maintaining good health is essential, and our Well Men’s Health Check is designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of your overall well-being. This personalised check-up focuses on key aspects of men’s wellbeing, offering both preventive care and educational resources to help you stay informed and proactive about your health.
Included in the basic Well Men’s Health Check:
- Pre-screening questionnaire
- Prostate examination as well as education on self-checks
- Testicular examination and education on self-checks
- UTI check
- Blood pressure, weight, height and BMI calculations with subsequent advice
- Cholesterol and pre-diabetic screening
Consultation takes one hour and basic price is £200. Additional charges apply for blood tests.

At what age should men start getting regular health check-ups?
Ideally, men should start getting regular health check ups from the age of 18, potentially every two to three years.
After 30, men should consider getting an annual check up. However, this is very much down to the individual, and we can only advise on when these checkups should take place.
What is the reason for booking a men’s health check?
The simple answer is that your health is our top priority. As we age, our bodies start to develop problems which become exacerbated later in life. For those already in their middle age, you will be screened for health-related diseases, assess any future medical problems, develop healthy lifestyle habits, and make use of preventative care services.

How long does it take to get test results?
If any specific tests need to be done, the results for this can vary. We will discuss this during your consultation with us, but if you do have any specific questions before you attend, just let us know and we will be happy to help.

How do men’s health checks work?
We understand that taking control of your health care journey can be daunting, especially if you already have concerns. We aim to take that stress away, and keep the process as smooth as possible.
We offer both Face-to-face and remote appointments based on your preference, with both female and male GPs available. Please specify your preference when booking, and we will ensure the most suitable clinician is provided.

Meet with your dedicated healthcare professional and discuss your current health, your medical history, any family illnesses you know about, and any lifestyle factors you think might be impacting your health.
Undergo a series of physical, non-invasive, examinations.

Wait for your test results to come back to us, and receive your personalised healthcare plan.
At this stage, if there are any aspects of your health that we need to raise, or if you need to be referred further, we discuss this with you before doing anything.
